In-house prefabrication of a boiler tube bank, including tube-to-tubesheet welding, at L.Tech’s production facility in Slovakia.

The project involved the workshop prefabrication of a tube bank designed for use within a boiler heat-exchange system. Tube banks form important heat-transfer surfaces and require consistent tube positioning, dimensional accuracy, and reliable welded connections.

Completing the work at our own production facility provided controlled workshop conditions throughout the fabrication process and allowed every stage to be closely monitored.

Project Scope

The scope comprised the preparation and arrangement of the individual tubes, assembly of the tube bank, alignment of the tubes within the tubesheet openings, and completion of the tube-to-tubesheet welding.

Particular attention was given to tube spacing, alignment, weld consistency, and dimensional stability across the complete assembly. Regular visual and dimensional checks were performed throughout production to maintain the required fabrication quality.

The finished tube bank was prepared for the next phase of the project in accordance with the applicable technical and quality requirements.

The project demonstrated L.Tech’s in-house capability to deliver precisely fabricated boiler tube banks under controlled workshop conditions, with consistent welding quality and dependable dimensional accuracy.
