Life City is a modern office and conference building located in the Hagastaden district of Stockholm, positioned in a highly attractive and strategic location adjacent to the New Karolinska Solna University Hospital. The building was developed as a hub for life sciences, research, innovation, and business, combining premium office spaces, conference facilities, and a contemporary working environment.

The property offers approximately 27,500 m² of space across seven above-ground floors and is designed to provide a high standard for companies, organizations, and professionals operating in healthcare, research, and innovation sectors. Life City stands out not only for its architecture and importance within the area, but also as a project delivered in a highly complex urban environment, requiring advanced coordination, logistics, and technical solutions.

Project Scope

The project was delivered by a dedicated team of approximately 10 personnel. The scope of works comprised the delivery of a complete water based fire protection system, including design coordination, prefabrication, installation, commissioning, and ongoing service support.

The installation included sprinkler systems, hydrants, valve stations, and a dedicated sprinkler plant room, ensuring a fully integrated solution across the development.

The project required strict adherence to programme constraints, with all installation activities sequenced and coordinated to align with overall construction timelines and interface requirements with other trades.
